Character Bios (WIP)

Sayori Takahashi, 18, O Rh-.

A Japanese high school student on her last year of high school, she decided to travel to Knox County on spring break in order to meet an online boyfriend.

The visit to Louisville went quite poorly, and Sayori had to relocate to Muldraugh, in part to stay hidden from her (now ex-) boyfriend until her plane ticket would allow her to return, in part due to rental costs in the city.
Despite the disappointment and subsequent breakup, something about the wide-open spaces and ghost towns of rural America compelled her to stay for as long as she had initially intended.

Her plans were put on hold when the outbreak took hold and, seemingly overnight, plunged the entire county into chaos.
Sayori was being treated in the Rosewood clinic for a fractured leg when everything went to shit, but somehow managed to escape.

Since then, she's managed to survive more near-death situations than she would care to count, amassed an impressive collection of skills, and put down more rotters than she can count.

Despite all that, her depression hasn't gone anywhere, but neither has her love for literature.

She can often be found writing in her journal when she's not fixing generators or stitching up the others in the team.

Solid, dependable, and growing more confident by the day.

Suicidal mental wreck with terrible self-esteem. The only thing she hates more than herself are the rotters.

1LT Mishka Sokolov, 20, AB Rh+

Ex-Russian soldier

She doesn't talk much.

Seemed very upset when she found out who was buried on the perimeter of the fortress.
Has a striking resemblance to Isobel.
Struggles with answering questions about where she's from and how she got to America.

It's not like she's keeping things a secret; It's more like she forgets how to speak.
When she arrived, she seemed quite space-y.
1000 mile stare as they call it.

She seems to be much better now she's with the group.
She's incredibly jumpy and freaks out when she's outside and gets separated from the rest. Definitely has an issue with helicopters and planes.

Hopefully it will improve.
